Business Insurance

Business insurance built around how you operate

One conversation covers all of it. We review the policies your business holds today, explain what differs between the options available, and help you decide what fits.

General Liability

General liability coverage for everyday business exposures.

General liability insurance may help protect your business from certain claims involving third-party bodily injury, property damage, and related defense costs. Coverage depends on the issued policy, the facts, and its terms, exclusions, and limits.

A contract, landlord, licensing body, or project owner may ask for evidence of coverage. Required forms, limits, endorsements, and certificate details vary.

Bodily injury claims
Coverage for eligible third-party bodily injury claims, subject to policy terms and exclusions.
Property damage claims
Coverage for eligible third-party property damage claims, subject to the policy and the facts.
Legal defense
Defense costs for covered claims, handled according to the policy’s defense provisions and limits.
Certificates of insurance
Evidence of issued coverage when requested; a certificate does not change the policy or create coverage.

Commercial Property

Review coverage for the property your business uses.

Commercial property coverage can vary based on the building, location, construction, valuation, equipment, inventory, and business-income exposure.

We compare available options and explain covered causes of loss, exclusions, limits, deductibles, and flood treatment. Final terms are carrier-specific and subject to underwriting.

Buildings
Options for eligible owned or leased structures, subject to covered causes of loss, valuations, deductibles, and exclusions.
Equipment & tools
Coverage options for eligible equipment and tools at described locations or in transit, as the policy provides.
Inventory & contents
Coverage options for eligible stock, furnishings, and tenant improvements under stated limits and terms.
Business income
Coverage may address certain lost income and continuing expenses after a covered loss, subject to waiting periods, limits, and policy terms.

Commercial Auto & Fleet

Review coverage for vehicles used in your business.

Business use may fall outside a personal auto policy or change how coverage applies, depending on vehicle ownership, use, drivers, and the applicable policy’s terms and exclusions.

We compare available options for individual vehicles and eligible fleets, including requested liability limits and selected physical-damage, hired-auto, non-owned-auto, or rental features. Underwriting and carrier approval apply.

Liability
Coverage for eligible claims involving covered vehicles and drivers, up to issued limits and subject to exclusions.
Your vehicles
Selected collision and comprehensive options for eligible owned, leased, or financed vehicles.
Your drivers
Coverage may extend to scheduled drivers and selected hired or non-owned auto exposures under the policy terms.
Tools & equipment in transit
Separate coverage options may be needed for eligible property carried in a vehicle.

Surety Bonds

Help reviewing the bond a contract or license may require.

A license, permit, bid, contract, or court obligation may call for a particular bond form and amount. Requirements and deadlines vary, and an application does not guarantee eligibility, issuance, or timing.

We help identify the obligee, bond form, amount, and application information. Every bond remains subject to the surety’s underwriting, terms, indemnity requirements, availability, and approval.

License & permit bonds
Bond options when an applicable licensing body or permitting authority requires one.
Contract bonds
Bid, performance, and payment bond options for eligible public or private work.
Court & fiduciary bonds
Bond options when a court or institution specifies an eligible obligation and form.

Common questions

How fast can I get a certificate of insurance?

Timing depends on whether coverage is already in force, the completeness and wording of the request, and carrier or system availability. A certificate can describe issued coverage but cannot amend it, and no specific delivery time is promised.

Does commercial property insurance cover hurricanes?

A commercial property policy may include, exclude, or separately endorse wind or hurricane coverage, and a separate deductible may apply. Commercial property policies commonly exclude flood, with flood coverage available through a separate policy or arrangement. The issued documents control.

My truck is in my personal name but used for the business. Which policy do I need?

The appropriate policy depends on ownership, title, actual business use, drivers, and the terms of existing coverage. A personal policy may limit or exclude some business use, so review the facts and policy with a licensed representative before relying on it.

How fast can I get a bond?

Timing varies with the bond type, amount, required form, application completeness, financial information, underwriting, and surety approval. No same-day, next-day, or other issuance time is promised.
